FAQ

1. How do I register and create a profile ?

New members will click the 'Sign Up' button at the top of the website. You will enter in a desired username, password etc., click on 'Join Now' and you will be sent an email to complete your registration. Once logged in, you can edit your profile under 'My Account'. You can specify your car and modifications, add photos, edit your user settings etc.

When you register you choose to register as a person, car club or body shop.

2. Do I have to be in the car show to be a member ?

No, certainly not. You will still have the full functionality as everyone else on thw website, just without being in the car show.

3. Is this like a real car show ?

In some ways yes, and in obvious ways, no. The more money you put into your car, the more it shows and the more people love it. What's different is who judges the winners. Winners are decided by your peers. So it's more like the People's Choice Awards.

4. How does voting work ?

If you are entered into the car show, visitors to your page can cast a vote for your car. Users will select the amount of points (1-5) they wish to assign their vote. Users can vote only once per week per car, but can vote on as many cars as they like.

5. Current Ranking on a user's profile page ?

The amount of stars you see on a person's profile under Current Ranking is calculated weekly based on the votes they receive throughout the week.

6. Can I change my vote ?

Yes, this is actually how we avoid multiple voting for a specific user. For example if you vote 3 points for Bob, click on VOTE and then select 5 points for Bob and then click VOTE again, the last vote will override the first and you will have cats a 5 point vote for Bob for the current week.

7. How does the Leader Board work ?

Point totals from voting are continually recalculated throughout the week and this is refelected by the current leader results in the leader board. So you will actually see the leaderboard change during the week as more people place their votes.

8. I don't see my car listed, can you add it ?

Yes. Simply shoot us a message from the contact page and we will add your ride so that you can create your profile.

9. What are car clubs and how do they work ?

Car clubs are a place for people with a shared passion to get together, make new friends, and talk shop. Car clubs can be both real world car clubs that want to represent themselves online as well as virtual car clubs that are created solely online. Anyone can create a car club for any interest. Car clubs can be anything from Hot Rod Club, Lifted Trucks, Houston Riders Club to SoCal Racers, Mustangs Only, and Custom Paint Club etc...

10. Can I create a profile for my Body Shop ?

Yes, please do. This is done at the time you register. When you register, you will be asked if you want to register a Personal Profile page, Car Club, or a Body Shop.
